A Double Baby Buggy Means Total Style And Comfort
Any parent with two children who are close to each other in age will know just how frustratingly difficult it can be to take a proper family outing whether it be a day out, trip to the park or shopping. The older child will usually tire of walking pretty quickly and want a place to sit down and rest their little legs. If you have a single baby buggy you will probably have had to trade off carrying one child and letting the other ride in the buggy. Especially difficult when you are shopping. If this is your situation, or if you have a youngster and are expecting another soon you should definitely look into up grading your single to a double buggy.
Luckily for parents there are more and more solutions to this problem coming onto the market every day. If you are thinking about getting a double pushchair now is a very good time to buy one. Just a trip to the park can be much more fun for the parents and the children alike. The extra storage space underneath the twin pushchairs can hold picnics, nappy sacks and toys for the little ones. There are even jogger friendly models for parents who like to take the opportunity to exercise while they take their young ones out.
If you’ve ever taken your kids to an amusement park with a single push chair, you know how difficult it can be to decide which child gets to ride and which has to walk. The youngest might be happy to ride but the oldest might get tired walking or simply decide they want a ride too. Also while you’re juggling your children you’re also having to deal with your bags, lunches, and all of the other things that you need to carry along to a park when you have children. Shopping can be a total nightmare with one child running around grabbing things off the shelves or knocking stacks over. You can make them hold your hand but with pushing the buggy you won’t have a hand free to collect any shopping. By using a double baby buggy you can solve all of these problems, by having places for both children to ride, and storing all of your belongings on the buggy itself.
These double travel systems are stylish and affordable. They are practical, yet full of safety features that can set any parents mind at ease. Many of the newer systems offer great features like being collapsible. You can unfold them when you need them and break them down for easy stowage in your boot when they aren’t in use. Also by using online shopping outlets you can find a double baby buggy that’s extremely affordable as well.
No matter what you’re going to be doing with your two children, we’ve seen how having a double baby buggy can really help make your family outings far more fun and enjoyable. Please consider purchasing one of these systems for you and your children. You will find some great examples and reviews at Buggy Pushchair

Respisense Baby Breathing Effort Monitor
Respisense Buzz Baby Monitor
This revolutionary product is designed to be used anywhere that baby may sleep. There are already monitors on the market that rely upon sensor pads, which need to be placed under the mattress in the cot. This monitor addresses the problems which some other monitors of this type have.
This monitor can clip on babys nappy or clothing and monitor breathing effort. If no effort is detected by the monitor, after 15 seconds, the monitor “buzzes” to stimulate baby in an effort to recommence breathing effort. If this happens and still no movement is detected, then an audible alarm will sound. This is to alert parent/carer to the situation. The alarm increases in volume if no effort is detected.

Baby Crochet
The art of crochet is a very relaxing hobby you can do while awaiting the arrival of your new addition. The soothing rhythm of creating stitches can calm even the most frazzled nerves. If you’re one of those people [like me], who can’t stand to sit idle, crochet is a wonderful way to let your body get some rest and not feel like you’re wasting time. You can sit in front of the television with your feet up and create something beautiful and functional without it feeling like work.
Pick up your work whenever you have a spare few minutes. Take your project along with you when you travel. It’s a great way to make road trips, train travel, plane rides etc. pass more quickly. You’ll have to use plastic hooks if you’re using public transport.
Of course you don’t have to be pregnant yourself to benefit from learning how to crochet. The benefits are many and varied. Many sufferers of arthritis have used crochet as a form of physical therapy. The constant movement required, helps keep the hands limber and stops the joints from stiffening up.
Imagine the delight your friend or relative will feel when you present them with the beautiful gift of a crocheted hat, monogram blanket, crochet hangers, or booties, that you’ve taken the time and effort to create especially for them. What gift would be more appreciated than something unique that was crafted with love?
Crocheted hats are very useful especially for newborns. If the baby is premature, particular care is taken to prevent the loss of body heat. Crocheted hats are excellent for this. They are soft, comfortable, protective, and do a really good job of keeping the child warm. Crocheted hats are easy and inexpensive to make. A hook, a ball of yarn, and instructions on how to create the stitches, and you’re all set!
Lace shawls and Crocheted blankets are some of the most useful gifts a newborn can receive. The blanket can be transferred from pram to cot to floor, or to wrap your bundle of joy in to keep him/her snug and warm. Patterns are many and varied. From blankets created by joining many motifs together, to those created in one piece, like the blanket in the picture shown here. My blanket pattern is crocheted using 100% nylon 3ply baby yarn. This yarn is easy to care for, very soft, and lends itself very well to hat, blanket and booties patterns. Feel free to vary the color of the yarn to suit a boy or a girl.
You can also work this blanket in different colored stripes if you wish, or with a different colored edge. Decorate with a crochet butterfly to finish.
My Crocheted Booties are quick and easy to make. They are worked in the same yarn as my hat and blanket. I have made a twisted cord to thread through at the ankles instead of ribbon. You may use ribbon if you wish, however I find ribbon bows tend to come undone quite easily, resulting in booties slipping off baby’s feet and being lost.
Crochet hats, crochet toys, baby crochet hanger patterns, knitted hangers, blankets & booties, that are made by hand are made with love. Baby will need these things from his/her first few weeks.
Free patterns for the articles shown above are available on my http://www.learn how to crochet.com website.
If you would like to learn how to crochet quickly and easily, my “Crochet Made Easy” e-book gives complete step by step instructions and photographs to help you master this beautiful craft, along with tips and information on caring for your finished projects so you may have years of enjoyment from them. HAPPY CROCHETING!

Parenting Tips – Babies In Cars
You can be confident that your infant’s head and neck are well supported in the majority of car seats. The fact that a car seat with a handle, allows you to carry your child from place to place, without having to wake them up and remove them from their seat, is one of the advantages that parents love.A car seat’s primary purpose, though, is to safely transport your child in a vehicle. Some people may be under the impression that it is difficult to reattach an infant’s car seat in the car each time the seat is removed, but the majority of car seats are designed for easy installation into the vehicle. When the car seat is hooked in, and your baby is belted in the seat, you should examine the seat to be sure that it is correctly secured.Your baby will be kept quite cozy in their car seat, but you should not leave them in their car seat for extended periods. If you will be taking a long car trip, allow time to pull over and let your baby have a break from the car seat periodically.Although it is not recommended, a number of parents will step out of the vehicle and allow their child to remain in their car seat, in the car. Prolonged periods of time spent in a reclined position in their car seat, can result in breathing problems for premature infants.Infants with a gastric reflux condition, will be prone to vomiting when sitting in this position. The point is, that no infant, whether they have a health condition or not, should be allowed to remain in their baby car seat or buggy for more time than is absolutely necessary. You should avoid using your baby’s car seat for them to sleep in, if there is a crib or pram that could be used instead.A nap of several hours in the baby car seat will not harm your healthy infant. You should, however, avoid leaving your infant in their car seat for prolonged periods of time.

The Baby Balance Sheet – Can You Really Afford a New Baby and is it Really Worth It?
Babies are soft, cuddly and cute. They are also expensive, and a long term financial commitment, with no guaranteed return on your investment. If you are lucky, they may grow up into wonderful adults who leave home before 30 and look after you when you are old. The baby investment conundrum – are they really worth it?
People without children may wonder just how it is possible for babies and children to be such a money pit. They are only little and they do not eat that much, right? In the first couple of years, food may not be a big expenditure but the baby equipment alone would make your eyes water. Cradle, cot, sterilizer, high chair, pram, state of the art travel system, designer buggy, baby monitors, stair gates, cupboard locks, and that’s just for starters. Never mind the nappies, oh and not forgetting the clothes and shoes, which are used for such a little time. Do try to resist buying designer outfits for your kiddikins, as the cost per wear value is shocking.
However, usually when they are little the payback is pretty good. Once they learn to walk they are great little helpers at fetching and carrying (small items of course). They love their parents like they are gods, and what they take in subsistence is paid back many times with love and adoration.
It is when they get a little older that you start to get the grief. They treat you like a personal slave, their home like a hotel, and have a great line in backchat. You can usually expect this sort of behaviour by around age 3. You are secretly pleased they are so spirited and not a pushover. However by then it is too late and you have turned into your own parents.
