Seven Secrets – Baby Prams & Strollers

Thank you for signing up to our 7 baby pram secrets. Hopefully these 7 special secrets will improve your knowledge and skills in bringing up a child.

As a new parent I have read a lot of articles and naturally I thought they would be helpful, but I was wrong, some of the articles that I have read were misleading. So I am here to help you avoid the same mistakes that I made.

———————————————————————
Secret #1: Are you isolating your baby?

———————————————————————

As a parent I was always afraid of hurting my baby, I would bend over backwards to keep a smile on his face.

After a while I learn’t a few things, one of them was, when my son was un-happy, he seemed in most cases to be outside and this made me think, so I started to do some research of my own.

The information I found was startling to say the least and I didn’t even realize what I was doing, let alone doing anything wrong, that was what hurt me the most. Most parents fall into this trap and they do not realize the potential harm they are putting their baby in.

This is why I am showing you this secret first.

Secret #2: Getting on and off transport safely.
———————————————————————
For me I was a mum who thought I was super mum, I didn’t need any help I could do this all by myself, or so I thought, I found out very quickly that I am not super mum, far from it and I am glad I found this out early.

Thinking I can do it all means I put my baby in hazardous situations which could of easily been avoided, and that is why I am revealing these 7 secrets, so you can avoid the same mistakes and put them right immediately.

I used to like to take my child out shopping with me, but I needed to use public transport, I really didn’t like this. It was a huge hassle, causing much strain on me and my baby, it was no fun especially when I wasn’t doing it correctly. I always felt rushed, I was conscious not to keep other people waiting, but I need not have worried. Remember your baby comes first and safety is paramount and this is why today’s secret is about getting on and off transport safely.

Secret #3: Avoiding rough terrain.
———————————————————————
Now we have stopped you from isolating your baby and helping you with transportation, it’s time for your third secret.

Do you like taking your child to the park or on long walks so your baby gets plenty of fresh air. I know I did, I liked to take my pram everywhere and I mean everywhere.

My biggest mistake was when taking my son out, was my inability to see when I was being a little bit reckless. This proved too be very costly, one day whilst traveling through the woods my wheel got stuck on a branch, I pulled it out with some force, and as I pulled it out my wheel snapped off. Now I was left with the problem how do I get a 3 wheeled pram home with my son in it and this I can tell you was no fun.

This little story makes up todays secret, take a look at the link below.

Secret #4: Safety harness’s protect your kids.
———————————————————————
How was the first 3 secrets for you? Send me an email with any questions or concerns you have and I will be happy to help.

Have you ever had one of them days where you are in a rush, and you need to take your baby with you, you put your baby into the pram and rush off? I know, I have done it, you leave the house at high speeds, BUT did you realize that when your are traveling at a quicker pace and your baby isn’t strapped in properly, and you stop abruptly it could harm your child.

Do you have problems strapping your child into the chair especially if he/she is kicking and screaming? It can become very frustrating and at that moment you tend to give up and just go on like you normal.

Secret #5: Stability gives you peace of mind.
———————————————————————
A baby pram is one of the most important pieces of equipment a parent will need, in helping to raise a child. How many times have you asked the question what type of pram do I buy? But it is essential that you get it right as it can become a very costly mistake, if you choose the wrong one. In today’s secret I will be telling you how to choose the right one.

When leaving the house with all your bags, which you will need, they can become very heavy. You will certainly not want to carry them? This is totally understandable. But would you like to reduce the weight that you carry? Well if you make sure you get a pram with a wide carriage, then you can get rid of the weight off your shoulders and make your pram a lot safer and stable.

I’m sure you would like to get rid of the weight off your shoulder and make your baby pram safer.

Secret #6: Wheels are you friend.
———————————————————————
My first pram was a disaster, I just bought the best looking pram and that was a big mistake and it cost me a lot of money. This is why I am doing this, I don’t want you to go spend a lot of money on a pram and then realize that you forgot this key feature.

Are you looking to buy your first pram but unsure what to get? I’ve been there. One of the most important factors when choosing a pram is stability, I only wish I knew then what I know now before I wasted my money.

As a new parent you are excited about the look, the colour and what your baby will look like in the pram. Very few parents worry about the mechanical aspects, but please follow the link below and I know you will changeyour mind and that you will look at the mechanical side of the pram.

Secret #7: Stability keeps your child safe!
———————————————————————
Having had the experience of buying a pram for the first time. There are several things to bear in mind, e.g. carriage space, the comfort of your baby and the size but none of these compare to today’s secret.

All of these things have to be taken into consideration when buying a pram, but unfortunately for me, my first choices wasn’t the best, I had huge problems especially when I applied pressure to the handles, the pram would begin to tip backwards and this could have so easily caused a serious accident, not only to myself but also to the baby.

Like every parent out there, they wanted to stop this from happening and I did to, this leads to today’s secret.
